Why do people lie to me

Why do they pretend to care

Or tell me I'm a good person

My love

He's the only person

Who can fill the darkness in my life

That's always wrapped around me

But he's so far away

The moment when I turn away

I start to miss him once more

And feel his loving embrace 

Keeping me safe and warm

But the reality is

When I have to walk away from him

Our love never stops

But emptiness surrounds me 

And I'm back to the world 

Where I lose "friends" everyday

The world where I curl up and cry 

And no one notices

The world where I long for his hand
