Fantasy Forest

A Poem by GalaxyPain

My mind travels far too much it thinks far too deep leaving and making every step within my life so uncertain and Steep. Wonder what those around me think? They all have opinions falling like a fall trees leaves I know they do. So I wonder what of me it is everyone thinks. The opinions of those are around me I have chosen to hear are those of one's I wish one day I could unhear. Wonder what it would be like if the thoughts of those around me brought me dignity and gave me unity. Would I then feel brave enough to defeat all the doubt that lives within me? To soar the paths of Life inviting and forever free? No longer too scared of the bear ahead that will protect its young until it's dead or the wolf over there that doesn't care and if given the chance will invite charm and then Feast. Because beyond that bear and wolf ahead I know that I must tread. The site of life worth living lies so closely ahead. I spotted a bird with an injured wing and it was struggling to fly, but with the blink of an eye and now it's almost made it to the sky. The owl I heard in the dead of the night knows what lies ahead. He has seen it all yet stands so tall with his eyes still wide open. If only I knew what the wise owl knew well then I know I'd be fine. But life doesn't work quite as so for you cannot feel the pain of a cut unless the blood was bled from you. Jennica Tennant
