Rising above Hell

Rising above Hell

A Poem by GalaxyPain

I thought I could save you. I thought I could love you, hold you and ride along next to you long enough to reinvent you. My heart was pure, my intentions were good but, you were blind to all I gave and all I had to give. You broke me, hurt me and tried to erase all good within me. Shattered my soul and tormented me. I was selfless while you were soulless. You highjacked my wisdom and the beauty within me to use and manipulate anything and everything you were expected to be or that others may see. I lived my life with you as though you were my fantasy my destiny...that is the only reason you got the best of me. You never did deserve me. You never were worthy of me. I know now that you knew. That is why you always tried to break me into two. Every time I would rise you were the trip of my fall. You impersonated my prince when you truly cared nothing at all. I will be damned if I ever let you stand so tall to assassinate my character and trip me again to that fall.
