Darkness Arise

Darkness Arise

A Poem by GalaxyPain

Do not feed me lies
I refuse to let you be my demise
Eventually i will rise and show you my true size.
You arent very wise
Soon you will realize...
I no longer fantasize or whisper anymore cries.
I have conquered all your doubt
I found a way out.
I feel so free i want to shout
About all the s**t you did to me throughout.
I carried your shame, took on your last name
Tried never to blame...
Only tried to help you from falling back into your dark domain

This appears almost biographical to me. An abusive relationship where you rose above and conquered your fears and prevailed. Then again, perchance I'm quite mistaken. It has a dark bent but uplifts you near the end.

Light beating back the shadow of despair.

At least it had a happy ending. Pretty damn good. Emotional.
