I can very much relate to this poem.
My bf doesnt understand and yes probably
never will understand why i still stand next to him.
There are times where you must stick by someone
because you want to prove to them that they
are special in every way possible.
Thanks for sharing this piece, its wonderful.
ah, this is great.. it's wry and amusing and kind of sad in a jumbled, scrambled manner.. it kind of makes me twist and turns with all the you knows and he thinks and you thinks and thoughts, and that adds to its charm. it's a great poem because it just puts itself out there and doesn't say look at me, but it's fun to look at when one does look at it. high marks, stef, high marks.
I totally adore this poem. The last line made me smile.
It's really interesting how we see the wonderful things about the people that we love, yet they can never see those things, or even understand how we can feel so strongly -- they feel so undeserving. That's what I'm getting from this. Your faith in him is touching. And I think that's what we're brought into each other's lives for; to attach the value to the person we are through another.
Anywho, I loved it. Great write as always! :)

I was born on July 3rd 1986 in Torrance, California, and grew up there all my life. I had a hankering to start writing when I was eight, but didn't start actively pursuing it until I was thirteen and .. more..
