You bring out the sun in me,
With the radiant glow of your smile
the one that makes me smile back.

You bring out the happiness buried deep inside me,

In giving me the confidence to shine,

And making me laugh when I’m upset,

To the joyful feeling of waking up to a summer’s day

 

The warmth of your love,

Is regained in my reflection.

A mutual light that never flickers

And shines on the rainiest of days.

 

A brilliance of sunlight you bring out in me,

For the cherishing appreciation you send.

I try to show my rapture even through the clouds,

To give you the devotion and love well-deserved.

 

You bring out the sun in me,

A smile for a smile,

A laugh for a joke,

Loving sincerity and an honest trusting.
