Fireworks

Fireworks

A Poem by StarryNights

Fireworks try to describe emotion
For no feelings can relate
Only a sight to be seen through crackles of color
Exploding in the sky
But like my heart in the sight of your beauty
Fireworks don't always understand
So we make it through bad and good
Now is the time to see the colors
Before it fades away
Like photographs, who fades in time
Some things just weren't meant to stay
But here's the opposite to fading
It's you and me here for against the world
Words don't even explain how the feeling
Just being with you fills me with cheer
Regrets have never been made
Sorrow hasn't swept our feet
Light passes in a swirl of colors
Let the fireworks burst into love
