A Little Time

A Little Time

A Poem by StarryNights

Distance won't change a thing
Hearts grow fonder in the sight of thee
Smoke fogs in around the fates
But it's clear to me that your with me
Hands twist together while,
Passion fills the empty space
Time can fly but it's time with you
Maybe this is all a basket-case
Or maybe it's time to live the love given
The front line awaits us
But no war or hatred can touch my soul
Sunshine lights up the colors that never dull
Soon it's good-bye
And another hello
Nothing became something
Rain cleansed the days and nights
For the now, until the end
Remember the love
Remember the passion
Distance won't change a thing
War won't touch my strong soul

This is a really strong piece. Very well written indeed. The emotion in here is very raw and powerful.
