Golden Eagle

Golden Eagle

A Poem by Starrweaver
"

This was written during a time when these beautiful birds of prey were being harassed.

"

On gilded wings he soars,
Freedom is his song,
The world below can not hold him,
For the sky is in his soul.
Fly on forever, never will you die,
Brother of the four winds,
A future of death pursues you,
Till the day all but your memory fades away,
Don't let freedom’s spirit disappear.
