Tapestry of LifeA Poem by StarrweaverPoem I wrote some years ago. Was published in anthology and included on audio recording with music. To me it's just how I feel about life and the world.
We each travel our separate road,
Along the grand illusion of life,
Seeking fleeting pleasures,
Encountering both joys and pain,
At crossroads we meet each other,
Lives touch for brief moments,
Some entwine to continue the dance,
While others are but strangers within it;
Lives joined in love burn bright,
The pathways aglow with its light,
Those of bold individual roads,
They too add their own deep hues,
Even the lost, the dull and the empty,
Their roads give life its shadows,
In their twilight they give depth,
All color the roads of life.
