Thinking Girl

Thinking Girl

A Poem by Tis' Starling Bright

 She sits there waiting

Seeing only herself

Wondering, Why she is who she is.

Dreaming, That she could be someone better.

Accepting, That the only thing she has power over is her own decisions.

But why?

Why sit and think of these things?

Then is comes to her...

She is who she is because she's built herself that way.

She does not have to dream of being someone else because no one else can ever be like her.

And That she can help others make the right decisions, including herself.

Very insightful. Although the pink type hurt my eyes a little...not the point!
The point is that I felt chills when I read this, I felt emotional! Great job!

A true and inspirational insight into what I believe we all have thought about at one time or another. You hit the nail right on the head and it is a poem everyone should take heed to its meaning. We are who we are for that is how we were intended to be. There is no one in this world like us. We are all unique and should be proud of who we are. A beautiful write.
