LegendaryA Poem by StarlingA silly ode to Legends of Tomorrow. We fly through space and time or down to hell and purgatory Fighting to prevent crime and protect all of history The Waverider's our sentient base, our home outside of time where tomorrow can be yesterday and yesterday can be today It's there we found our family and we stand up for their honour because they don't make us weaker; they only make us stronger Yes, our methods can be unique and we work above the law But we're sure to bring the bad guys in if you let us be the chainsaw So we put on our Sunday best as we take missions head-on Confront speedsters and unicorns or get our Puritan... purit-on We've met all the greatest names through adventures in past and future tense Even the Queen of France could not withstand the charms of our fearless Captain Lance And who knew the God of War would be blue and cute and furry, revered by fearsome Vikings in a twisted version of history? Or out in the Old West, where we magically linked together to defeat a temporal demon with the worst orgy ever We fought the forces of Darkh-ness and saved all of mankind from godmothers and demons and evil masterminds We've come a long way on this wild and wicked ride From misfits to Legends who never bow out without a fight We don't follow orders At least, not to the letter But we are at our very best when we screw things up for the better So no matter the time or space we stand up to evil defiantly You haven't heard the last of us, because... when did a Legend ever go quietly?
