Name Me

Name Me

A Poem by Julia Squires

Heretical happenings under the bridge,
Invested instruction - melody mine.
With a waver,
Give me time.

There's a number, or a noun
But I can't connect the dots.
Whither or thither -
Will I wither?

I am unused...
Or unused to this climate.
Summertime? Simplify?
Could I ever be complex?

Rivulets revel, ascend to new levels;
They rise and regret.
Peering through portals,
Someone gets hurt.

Name me.

LOVE it, your use of alliteration and word play is fantastic!
