Your OnlyA Poem by Julia Squires
I could slip and cry,
And scrape my knee I could steal the stars, And crown you king I could shape the world, And make it bleed But I won't be your only I could stroke the sand, And soothe the sea I could scale the sky, And make you free I could turn the time, And fill your need But I won't be your only I could be your light, And bring you warmth I could sing all night, And wander north I could give my life, For what that's worth But I won't be your only I can never be Your only one © 2014 Julia Squires |
