Parade

Parade

A Poem by Julia Squires

I see them walk by

I never know why

I can never see mine

In the mirror

Or the theatre

For as they say,

It's all a stage

And so I play

And so I wait

For the day I pray

Will come when I

Can see my face

And then know why
