Crush

Crush

A Poem by Quinn
"

My long-standing crush and how I keep giving her advice on how to be with someone else....

"

I can’t take my eyes off you

When you turn to leave

I watch your blue tipped hair

As you walk away

My heart hurts and cries

You’ll never be mine

Every time you laugh

My heart smiles too

After every huge

I feel your body as close

as we’ll ever be

and no more

I give you advice

over how to be with them

I give you advice

That I should have followed

When trying to get you

They are a better choice anyway

There have been others

Who have caught my eye

But for over a year

You’ve been on my mind

But it’s too late now

I should just say goodbye
