Not for me

Not for me

A Poem by Quinn

Smoke in my face
Stuff in my hair
Puke on my shoe
I don’t want to be there

Head hung low
Wrinkle at the smell
Step away from the chatter
I’m just living hell

Plod back home
Pour myself a drink
Kick off my shoes
I sit, rest and think

Pick up a book
Or turn on the TV
Or start the music
I let stories from all three

I like a little party
I like a social buzz
But for me, not everyone
I just love no fuss

It doesn't make me special
or weird or strange
nor does it make me better
or intelligent or "top range"

No smoke in my face
No stuff in my hair
No puke on my shoe
I'm glad I'm not there

Great poem, even if somethings you love isn't what others like, as long as it's good for you, do it.
