It rains through life..

As you go through life

Rain just seems to fall

You look down at your feet

And watch the puddles form

Then one day it stops

For merely a moment or two

You look up and bask in the light

Then the clouds return and so do  you

You forget to look back up

You forget about that sunshine

But what you need to do

Is look up after a storm, like at sunrise

The strongest rainbows 

Form through the darkest of skies

Look up while it drizzles

Remember and one might fill that sky

As you go through life

Rain just seems to fall

You look down at your feet

But those puddles wont mean anything

If you learn to look

Remember the sunshine, remember the showers

And enjoy them like a really good book
