WonderWall

WonderWall

A Poem by StarlaFireDelta

her bedroom gleamed
of red light
a reflection of
all the passion in her heart
in the room
art in motion
in the corner
a flower
swaying
the petals
this red rose
delicate to touch
the pedal
on the piano
subtle little push
Every note a reminder of purity of tone
so pretty
there the tiny dancer
her slow and steady rhythm
a memorable moment
Innocence
not a woman now
a girl still
forgetting the storm
outside
dismissing the feeling
of helplessness again
For you I hold my tongue
all this time
and become
the silent silhouette
moving across
the red wall
