I write about unrequited love
The depths of a lonely reality
Wishing to take care of another
When I can't even take
care for myself
I write about
Scenes in the unseen
The misty fog of mind
That shields the sunshine
I'm falling into the wine again
And getting stained
And the residue traces left behind
I'm just hoping for a little hope
A hand to hold me
as I face adversity
All alone
I write about what I've known to be
True
Yet waiting for the days when
I can write about love again
