Without hesitation, this dynamic means everything, is oh so exciting
Can change you from within
Forbidden and tangled, it's just the moment, a memory
I have waited for him, so wanted someone
Charmed into sin, private and hidden
Transcending its ecstasy
At this time and In real life
I call it heaven

This is the perfect illustration of that first, tentative bit of intimacy with someone new. It really captures the raw emotion and excitement of that moment. Honestly, I can think of nothing more exhilarating than that "stare" you speak of, of actually willing yourself to take charge of your own desires and make that first move, casting aside all feelings of doubt and just going for it. It's like climbing Everest or something!

I love how the poem starts from the very beginning, the look of appraisal, of physical admiration that is ultimately followed by that magnetic pull that brings two would-be lovers together. it goes on into the kiss, the "key" as you refer to it, which is great. I mean, that's when you really know, right? It makes perfect sense.

I think my favorite line is "... So wanted someone Charmed into sin Private and hidden..." For me (and this is, of course, just my interpretation), it immediately adds this layer of someone else, some pre-existing lover that's now a part of the situation. Suddenly it gives the poem a whole new meaning, a whole new level of exhilaration and of guilt. Very well done. Bravo!
