You cant make me not Be

What can you do when life heaves you
into a semi alert state of fear and abandonment
when any and all love is chased away
and or destroyed
slowly and methodically
by many little remarks and threats and threats
killing all innocence, all trust, all mystery
annihilating fantasy
so that I must betray my innate sense
of need, of physical desire
I can abstain from the power of your suggestion
From your most ardent, eager little tricks

And it is from this that I harbor deep inside
another opinion that can now emerge
the very one who so easily persuaded
my eyes, my lips
to whom I gave much sacrifice
oh and we must not forget
That lying beneath
deceit and lies
a place where Dr.Jekyl hides
streaming through those eyes
there's hate and dishonor
and death it brings with it
Kill me for I'm already dead
I already feel myself about to disappear
to the only Savior I have ever known
the One within
For I have got my own God
I don't need you
you don't exist

This is quite beautiful and powerful. I like when you talked about love disappearing slowly but surely, as this feeling is all too close to heart. But it is also a nice "f$%* you" piece, if that was what it was meant to be. To me it screams independence, freedom, and letting someone know that you are no longer bound to them or by them. Nice job.
