Fault in our universe

Fault in our universe

A Poem by Mrs. Charlie Brown

Oh forty minutes and your day will end

It’s a birth anniversary but I’m not a lover

And it was better when I had a bit of love

Because now I really feel like a rock

But it is not just my fault, you know

It was as if the universe didn’t expect more

After blaming myself for so long

I just tell you goodbye and go

Because my place isn’t your home

Oh fifty spirits caressing our knees

As if they couldn’t rest in peace

You attacked my psychology

As you belittled my melodies

You threw away all the fake illusions on me

But I woud not sweep them endlessly

After blaming myself for so long

I just tell you goodbye and go

Because my place isn’t your home

Very strong stanza, and one that many can relate to.
