Burden

Burden

A Poem by Constellation

I know I'm a burden
Like the scars I have to bear
My secrets weigh me down
A truth I don't dare
A villain in my head
A parasite in my mind
I would rather be dead
But I say instead
Kiss the flowers
Empty grave
Silent whispers
Only pain
I know it's certain
I am a walking reaper
I claim souls
Without a reason
I wish I could change
I wish I could stop
But my burden is to deranged
I guess that burden isn't your job.
