Black Dahlia

Black Dahlia

A Poem by Constellation

I was alone
My heart was broken
The thought of love made me sick
I didn't think I could love
I was always the last one picked
Then I met you
I thought it was a sign from above
You cured my black dahlia

We were perfect
A match made from above
You cured my hurting
The love felt true
My every thought you consumed
Until you broke the trust
I would never had assumed
The Black Dahlia coming back

The coldness settled
The love unpure
You mingled with the devil
With that no cure
My fate was abrupt
Like a pendulum falling
Darkness overwhelming
Hearing the calling
You are the Black Dahlia
