This Time It's SealedA Poem by StarfruitanimalIn a ruthless way she’s so stuck in her history, And its like, everyday she kind of likes her own misery. Stuffed, In a bottle, Feeling too full yet hollow, Forcing down every swallow, Until it leads to tomorrow. Hey you see, She’s in the ring with a monster. Manipulating her moves as he creeps right behind her. It’s gonna feast real soon, Carries knives and made ditches, Torn stitches and b*****s, It’ll see to it’s riches. And she’ll see him dead, And she knows she will. Empty void to fill, Gonna claim her kill. Give it 14 days, and then she’ll be saved, And learn how to behave, And have a reason to say " That I’ve made it Mom. Now I’m where I belong, What I did was wrong, But presently, things are calm. Singing the same song Broken, bloody, and bruised, Cliché terms to use But that s**t, It’s true. Desperation leads to disaster, The days keep moving faster, But desperation is the disease of the one that pleads. Begging, sick on their knees, Reaching out for help with their needs. I look past her, Hard to handle the pain she feels the morning after… She’s willing to surrender, Just 14 days. Such a fragile contender, Breaking glass to behave. Now the monster’s confused, Little girl got a curl in her lip, And she’ll hit With her life, give it all This time, © 2012 StarfruitanimalFeatured Review
