BloodSportA Poem by StarfruitanimalI don’t play dead, I am honest. And this thin thread, Creates stitches that bound us. No makeup mascara and stardust In the perilous truths that are beyond us. In an awaking, Glasses breaking, Congratulations to the holy hymn. My hand is still wavering… And in a dreary blood sport and not much more, More greetings for the pretentious less understanding towards the poor.. And in the open door, She stand in between both sides just thinking of the cure… And the bore of both they lie, Im still looking towards your self pride. Your like a queen that’s past her prime, That regime got canceled! Kill the radio waves that machine has cancer And I’m not a hardcore hoodlum, I don’t carry a gun wouldn’t know how to use one anyway. But maybe if I packed heat I would keep up With the dumb stuff a lot of rappers have to say.. But whats the contest who can confess, To the tiny little needles that prick in our bones, Life shown, Through a heart beat beat boxin battle scars Bein alive is a gift it shouldn’t pound that hard. But if your walking through hell, keep walking And if you want to hear truth stop talking. I am able in my rhetoric rendering rhythmic etiquette, Not the properness you expect from a princess with a crown of thorns around her head. Being trusting is not looking at the expiration date And wanting it so much that you just eat it anyway. And being loving is a system of wires and electricity Complacently devised to feed your energy. These kings don’t know what up I’m feeling weirded out by their prevalence When society is such a mess But think of this One day we’ll all be on the moon and we’ll get to meet E.T.
