We Shall Remain

We Shall Remain

A Poem by Starfruitanimal

My brush paints,

Petroleum penetrating the porous poker face

Of this police state.

I paint over power tripping politicians

Passing polygraphs and pushing pins

Into poor programmed parents and kids

My brush paints

The sadness of seduction

Screen print sin into my skin

Is this washable?

I wonder when the wizard of oz

Will wither un til its skin

Reaches the very point of revealing reptilians

Revelations that the wonder bread can no longer hide behind

This shrine of lies this test of time

So let me show

And over throw the under lords
before they stay, insanity,

Afraid to breathe and if I do I deny I’m asleep.

Now lets be brave,
being is better than being the

Sick depraved

Bile ridden belligerence of institutions.

Grasping at memories once engraved

Some one called it once the Constitution.

Ready set

Let me lend you a head rest for immediate unstress.

I’d rather buy you peace

With this heart
