To Look on The Brightside

Ok, time to be positive.

After all it is the best policy.

Besides love, compassion, modesty,

and unconditional honesty.

Oh and not to mention,

gratitude, good decisions, genuineness and God,

"a higher power", "that thing divine",

I guess the list goes on.

I look to the Sun to settle my differences,

and the Moon to help me sleep.

To my mother and my father,

who give me strength from being weak.

And I'm hopin one day I can use that because

It's such a beautiful thing.

I'm gracious amongst these ramparts,

for them holding up my heart.

And I'n every being I derive a feeling ,

with substance and meaning and something appealing,

We all live diverse but forever immerse

in devotion that delved in emotion that held

and I hold friends up high and

look towards the sky

the devil let no one on earth alive cry

so we feel ourselves,

and submit to the wealth

of every connection our touches have felt.

This had a very warm atmosphere. Was well written.
The line about "devotion that delved emotion" seemed awkward to me, but as a whole piece; I found it a really nice read. Infact, lovely.
