InsecuritiesA Poem by Starfruitanimalsomewhat politicalIt’s a Secret service scientology Sending brainwaves to your headaches Shape shifting personalities and we agonize over pay raise You can tell how someones feeling by the tone of their voice You can pinpoint their bad habits By their system of choice. And the big brother don’t bother, he had daddy issues Paranoid of friendly people So take the innocent and abuse. And the insecurity of others is sometimes spilled onto our spleen It affects a population Like pubescent Britney spears wannabees. But me? I just didn’t throw up my lunch In fact my hand goes out gladly To those cut up too much. The garbage trucks have moved away The jobs all exported to Now we’re stinking, jobless, homeless, they say The response “we’ll react to this on a different day” You got blood on your face From the soul you just ate I feel displaced in your mainstream of hate So throw us a dollar baby Maybe we’ll give you a show Or maybe we’ll shove that dollar quite directly down your throat. Or maybe we’ll ask for another and one day own a gigantic home Or maybe we’ll ask for nothing but just to get what we are owed. Sit back, relax, collect your income tax Find a homeless guy to harass Inhale in more trash. They have no limits, They get right in it You power hungery bigot We drown right in it.
