#23 Teen

#23 Teen

A Poem by Atlas Jones
"

Ah to remember when I was a teen....

"

What am I like to others my age

What do I look like to you

Why do I feel like everyone is constantly judging me

Why did I ever dream about becoming this

Why am I always sweating

How can I get you to listen to me without judging me as just that

How can I understand what you still won’t tell me

Where does that sort of road end

Why can’t you see me for who I am

What do you think I’m supposedly trying to prove

How am I ‘supposed’ to be in your eyes

Why don't you let me just give it a fair shot

What do I look like to you

On second thought…. Don’t answer that.

Author's Note

Atlas Jones
Ignore grammatical issues I was like 15, and thought I was too cool for good grammar. I then proceeded to never remember to fix it so this is the byproduct. Also, I stink at grammar in general.
