Tell me

Tell me

A Poem by CoffeeVampier
"

Rope

"

Tell me that your love sick

Tell me what I don’t know

Tell me that you need me

Because without you I forget how to breathe

Words that help a ring

A memory of dreams

A challenge

That will ring

A glint in your eye

A missing heart beat

As we stood out on the street

Tell me that your love sick

Tell me what I don’t know

Tell me that you need me

Because without you I forget how to breathe

I knew it was wrong

But you were mine

This was my last chance

I couldn’t stay in line

I had to make my point

I was running out of time

A poisoned drink

From the bottomless pits

I kissed your lips

Tears running down my eyes

I had to say goodbye

You’re right where I need you

Even though I can’t see you

I have loved you once

I never gave up hope

Back to that rope
