Rope Deep

Hold on tight

Praying

With all my might

When everyone seems to frown

Maybe I’ve lost my sight

Hoping

Needing this to be right

 

Wanting to know

Crying

Is it worth the emotion woe

Being treated this way

Like I have been let go

Breaking

Cause of the way you treat me so

 

An attempt to see

Trying

To break free

Hands sowed to the rope

I’m tied to you, you tied yourself  to me

Unknowing

are you still wanting to be

 

loyal to your quote

Following  

Possibly false hope

That you toss in the air

So I write this note
