Death Replayed

Death Replayed

A Poem by Zanna Rose

Blank stare, the shadow across my sight
slither behind me, evil in the night
eyes shut tight, ignore the ragged breath
the pain, the horror, no one sees the rest
slightest movement wins a fist
it whispers "you don't exist"
silent screams, soul removed
creeping slime "I know your truth!"
my lungs cease I am done
my death replayed, a dark rerun

I like it, but you spelled Silent wrong. Just thought I'd let you know!
