Your Last Chance

Your Last Chance

A Poem by StarSandwich

I told you last night, tonight is your last chance.
I told you last night, tonight our last dance.
I hear her you in the distance, your calling out my name.
I know you used to love me, but I know we wont be the same.
Your boyfriend stands beside you, I'm no lover just a friend.
You know my heart is breaking, but yours you'll will never lend.
I used to spending my time, just making your smile grow.
But now you stand before me, how did you sink that low.
You pick on peoples looks, you laugh at there style.
But I can see right though you, your hooked on such denial.
But I can end this quickly, I'm just your friend.
I know that you need me, but I need this to end.
That Kiss lets just forget it, no longer will I stand.
No Longer will I hold out, such a loving hand.

So sit there with your boyfriend, I've let go of your hand.
So we'll just sit here in silence, on my feet I'll hopefully land.
No longer will I see you, to night was your last chance.
No longer will I hold you, because tonight was our last dance.

It can be seen as either a boy or a girl. It just depends your point of view :)

I really like this, but I'm a bit confused. Is it two women with feelings for one another, or just too friends?
