Another sad poem

Another sad poem

A Poem by Veronica
"

story of my life

"
TW!!!!!

In the silence of her empty room
She found solace in the glint of steel
The sharp edge against her skin
Brought a fleeting sense of relief

Each cut a whispered symphony
Of pain and release intertwined
A crimson dance upon her flesh
A temporary escape from the chaos within

But with each slice, she lost herself
A little more with every drop of blood
Her identity fading with each scar
Until she was a mere shadow of who she once was

The knives became her only companions
Their cold touch her only solace
But as she traced the lines of her broken skin
She yearned to find herself within the wreckage

So she set down the knives, embraced the pain
And began the arduous journey back to herself
With each step, she reclaimed her lost soul
And learned to find beauty in her brokenness
