She.

She.

A poem about a girl I loved who took her own life

TW Suicide/implied suicide
She.
She looks at me, with the longing that I have when I look at the stars.
She looks at me, with eyes that soar.
She looks at me, with the amount of love that a mother has for her child.
I am her world.
At least, I thought i was.
How naive of me,
To think that I was enough
To keep her here.
To keep her alive.
I wonder if those eyes still look at me,
With the longing they had
when she could still see me.
I wonder if she would be proud of me.
How far I've come.
How much I miss her.
Her eyes
Her smile
Her love
All gone.
