I Am Poison

I Am Poison

A Poem by aberrantly malignant

My words will not help

But my lips are the cure

I made you drink the poison, oh so willingly

Now, don’t bite into the apple

Oh, please, but you have

Take the cure and throw it like your apple

Throw your apple like you treat the cure

Forget the poison

Forget me

I am the poison

I’m sorry

I am only an apprentice

no need to apologize. *she smiles*
I absolutely adore this piece - I think it's bold, it's well written, it conveys emotion honestly, and manages to pack a punch in a few short lines without cliches and overused phrasing.
very well done.
