"

"Number Six is yours." Glide stated, handing the dossier to T.K. "Give 'im hell."

T.K. nodded. "I won't let him escape."

"Good boy." Glide grinned. "Don't screw this up."

T.K. smirked, opening the door to Antanibi. "Me? Screw up? Keep dreaming."

...

Antanibi was a rather peaceful planet, the inhabitants living in small, controlled cities. T.K. appeared from the front door of a school building, looking around. Most of the buildings were small, two floors at the most. Above the Arcadian boy's head, several circular devices zoomed by, teenagers riding on top of them. They must be this world's version of skateboarders. T.K. thought, laughing.

A passing couple waved to the Arcadian boy. "Good morning!"

T.K. jogged over to them, stopping in front of them. "Hi. Can you two help me? I'm looking for a kangaroo rat. He would've shown up on this planet - probably in this city - a few days ago at most. He's a big guy, six-three, carrying a baseball bat, dressed in a black and red jumpsuit with the letters 'BQMSCC' printed on the back."

The male shrugged. "I'm sorry. I've never seen anyone like that."

"I have." The female said. "He was heading toward the old-age home down the block."

T.K. dropped into a feral stance, taking off down the street. "Thank you!"

...

Dreier looked up from the corpse of his latest victim, an elderly female serval. He regarded the Arcadian boy in front of him with an amused expression. "What are you supposed to be? A cat-dog-rabbit?"

T.K. snorted. "I don't really care what you think of me." He said, picking up a lead pipe from nearby. "What's important is what's gonna happen to you. You're going back to Blackblood."

Dreier twirled his baseball bat, tilting his head back. "Make me go back." The kangaroo rat challenged.

T.K. nodded, gripping the lead pipe with his right paw, growling quietly as he bent the makeshift weapon, curling it around his left paw. He threw a punch into the wall of a nearby building, shaking his paw afterwards, licking his muzzle. "Oh yeah, that's gonna hold up just fine against that flimsy 'weapon' of yours."

Dreier backed up, dropping into a crouch. Using his powerful legs to rocket him forward, he lunged at T.K., swinging at the Arcadian boy's head.

T.K. brought his paw up, barely missing the baseball bat, the weapon striking him and knocking him to the ground.

Dreier smirked, delivering a hard kick to T.K.'s side while the boy was down. "You've got guts, kid." He said, kicking T.K. again. "Let's see what they look like!"

T.K. snarled, black ooze beginning to spill from his muzzle. The ooze latched onto him, spreading to cover his muzzle and neck, slowly traveling down to his left shoulder.

Dreier's eyes widened, the kangaroo rat stumbling back. "Is that...?"

The ooze enveloped T.K.'s arm, the pipe around the Arcadian's paw sizzling when the ooze touched it, vanishing entirely after a few seconds. "It's... It's the Devil's Tar..." T.K. coughed, the ooze wrapping around his claws. The Arcadian boy staggered to his feet.

Dreier tapped his baseball bat against the ground, swallowing down his fear. "If you're gonna stand up, you'd better be ready to go back down!"

T.K. opened his mouth, taking a deep breath before spitting a glob of Devil's Tar at Dreier, catching the kangaroo rat's weapon with it, melting a large portion of it.

Dreier yelped, dropping his weapon, turning and taking off.

T.K. brought his left arm up, the limb shaking. He aimed carefully, then swung his arm down, a long tentacle of Devil's Tar extending from his paw and wrapping around the fleeing kangaroo rat's ankle. He jerked his paw back, the Tar slamming Dreier to the ground, his hindpaw separating from his leg.

Dreier screamed, writhing on the ground as the tar began to extend up his leg. "Stop! I'll go back!"

"No going back..." T.K. growled, reeling Dreier in with the Devil's Tar. "No going back..." He repeated, plunging his Tar-covered paw into Dreier's stomach.

Dreier's breath caught in his throat, his scream dying before it could escape from his muzzle. The Devil's Tar coating T.K.'s paw was spreading through his bloodstream, eating him from the inside.

The seconds ticked by, so slowly that time nearly stood still for the suffering kangaroo rat. When the Tar finally finished with him, there was nothing save for a pool of black ichor where Dallas Dreier once lay. A few feet away, the kangaroo rat's hindpaw sat, the only evidence that Dallas Dreier was ever there.

T.K. removed the Nexus key from his pocket, opening a nearby door with it. Before he passed through, he threw Dreier's dossier into the steadily shrinking pool of Devil's Tar. "Farewell, murderer."
