Niqi leaned against the side of the boat once again; they were nearly to land. "I've got, like...four more questions," she said to Micah, who was beside her. She smiled sheepishly. "Sorry if it's getting annoying, there's just so much that I don't know about you."

Micah chuckled, shaking his head. "Go ahead and ask. You oughta know by now that you're free to."

"Thanks," Niqi said, smiling normally now. "First off, just as a clarification - your real name is, in fact, Micah Seraphi?"

Micah nodded. "Yeah. Are you gonna ask me for my current angel rank and why I was posing as a demon hunter, too?" He smirked.

Niqi grinned. "The last part was my second question, actually - why a Hunter? And angel rank would be interesting to know."

"I'm a guardian at the moment." Micah responded. "And I posed as a Hunter so it wouldn't be that strange for me to ask about a certain vampire."

Niqi turned her eyes to the ocean, feeling the blush on her face underneath the fur. "Ah," she responded, and couldn't keep from smiling slightly. "Alright, third question...if you're an angel, and not a human or a wolf, what is your true form?"

Micah shrugged. "It's pretty much this. I've just got a glamour on my fur at the moment, so I don't stick out as much. You know what they say about the one nail that sticks out."

Niqi rolled her eyes. "Japanese proverbs. I much rather prefer 'If you act normal, people will accept you. If you act deranged, they will make you their leader.'"

"Hey, 'the one nail that sticks out is the one that gets hammered' makes sense." Micah grinned.

Niqi shrugged. "The japanese were into conformity and obedience. I'm not. Go figure." She grinned. "Anyway, last question - the million dollar one. What, exactly, was an angel doing hooking up in a club bathroom with someone he'd met ten seconds earlier? Aren't you all supposed to be goody-goody?"

Micah smirked and patted Niqi on the head. "Good guys can get wild, too. You're proof of that." He said, leaning over the side of the boat. "You sure that's the last question? Not gonna ask me to show you my true fur color?"

Niqi's eyebrows rose. "Alright then. Sure, show me."

"Okay. But you're gonna have to do something for me first." Micah grinned. "Get down there and bring some seawater back up here."

"Sure thing," Niqi replied, glad for something to do. She rifled around for a bucket, found a metal one in a heap of gear, and came back to the side of the boat. She threw the tied rope ladder over the side, then climbed up onto the railing. She stood for a moment to admire the view. Then, she raised her arms in the air and performed an elegant swan dive, the bucket sliding down to her shoulder in the process. She grabbed hold of it again once underwater, then swam to the surface and took hold of the rope ladder. She pulled up the bucket, now filled with water, and climbed back on board. "There you go," she said, handing Micah the full bucket; her clothes were clinging to her and water was all over the deck.

Micah took the bucket, holding it over his head and upending it. As the water dumped over him, his fur color changed, going from black to orange. "And that is why I don't go swimming in the ocean while I've got a glamour working."

Niqi's eyebrows rose again, and then she laughed. "Awesome. We make Halloween."
