Glide and Ricky

This is completely the writing of my friend.

With the twins looking on, Ricky and Glide fought.

Every strike was parried, countered, parried again; the way the two Varixians moved was like a dance, each ready for the next move the other would make and prepared to act accordingly.

"You're fast, even with that thing chained to your leg." Glide commented, grabbing Ricky's arm and tossing him across the field.

Ricky landed on his feet, spinning to intercept an elbow strike with his forearms. "Thanks. You're no slouch, either, dad."

Glide aimed a kick at Ricky, intentionally kicking over the boy's head, spinning in a complete circle when his hindpaw touched the ground to sweep Ricky's legs out from under him while he was distracted.

"I thought you said no feints!" Ricky scowled.

Glide smirked. "I lied."
