Yasya and Gatari

This is completely the writing of my friend.

"C'mon," the cabbit whined, "just one more time. Please?"

Gatari sighed, rolling his eyes. "Fine. But this is the last time. You know we shouldn't leave the Nexus, something could happen while we're gone."

"If something happens, the others can handle it." Yasya said, picking up his daggers. "If it's too bad, they can just page us or something, now let's go!"

"Whatever." Gatari muttered, pulling his weighted gloves on. "You're lucky I love you or I wouldn't be agreeing to this s**t."

Yasya waved a dismissive paw. "I doubt luck has anything to do with it." He grinned, strapping his blackened steel bracers to his enormous, low-hanging ears. "What do you think? Should I stick with the Phantomcloth, or risk it and go normal?"

"S'up to you." Gatari replied. "I'm sticking with my Phantomcloth, though." He lifted the cropped blue jacket, slipping it on.

"I don't blame you." Yasya said. He swung a pair of belts around his chest, then donned a white shirt to cover them. "It feels safe. Y'know, since we know what it can really do."

Gatari nodded. "This stuff's worth its weight in gold."

"Worth more, actually." Yasya replied, fluffing his hair up and admiring himself in the mirror. "Oh man, I look almost as good as you do."

Gatari chuckled, shaking his head. "You look better. Hey, you think Glide's gonna be there?"

Yasya shrugged. "I don't know. He better be, though; what's an omniverse-wide demon hunt without the grand master of whup-a*s? I gotta admit, though, I'm kinda hoping he's not there. If he is, there's no chance we'll take more demons down than him."

Gatari opened his mouth to respond, then shut it again, studying his lover's face. "... Did you glitter yourself up when I wasn't looking?"

"... Maybe..."
