Paperwork

A Chapter by Star Catcher

This is completely the writing of my friend. Look, I finally have a title. Title name. XD

About half an hour after the group had stopped, Glide approached Therali, tapping the bat god on the shoulder. "Dude, I gotta talk to you about something."

"Okay, shoot." Therali responded. "What's on your mind?"

"It's about Felix." Glide said.

Therali nodded. "What about him?"

"What the hell happened, anyway?" Glide asked, paws on his hips. "Why the f**k did you keep him up there for ten years? Y'know, it's your fault the omniverse almost got destroyed."

"No. Just f*****g no. You are not blaming that one on me." Therali snapped, hooking the blade of his scythe around Glide's shoulders. "Your misguided brother was bound to find somebody powerful enough to be his distraction, and if Antel had never gotten his claws in you, he would've just found someone else."

"You're duckin' the question." Glide stated. "Answer me. Why?"

Therali lifted his scythe, pulling it back and leaning against it again. "Paperwork."

Glide raised an eyebrow. "You seriously expect me to believe that?"

"It's the truth." Therali replied. "Just ask 'Tani, she's gone through paperwork with me a few times."

Glide dropped to a sitting position, rubbing his temples and grumbling to himself.

Therali sat down beside him. "Can you honestly say that godly paperwork is the strangest thing you've ever heard of?"

"I guess not, but it's pretty high on the list." Glide muttered. "You swear it wasn't your fault?"

"I swear to... well, me." Therali grinned.

Glide chuckled, shaking his head. "That's a new one." Without warning, he lashed out at the bat god, his knuckles striking the side of Therali's head.

Therali was on his back before he could blink, his head throbbing. "Ow, f**k! I thought we were past this!"

"Oh, we are now." Glide said. "That was just to make me feel better."

"You're a frickin' a*****e, you know that?" Therali growled. "That hurt like a m**********r."

Glide smirked. "Yeah. I know."
