When Glide's sons and Revan finally came back downstairs - nearly noon the following day - the others were still attempting to figure out where the demons' base of operations could be.

"I think the Hell dimensions would be a good enough place to start." Therali stated. "Unfortunately, to even find our way through them, we would need a demon."

Glide nodded, standing up. "We'll capture an imp from the next raiding party those a******s send after us."

"It would lie, you halfwit." Therali snapped, grabbing Glide by his tail and yanking him back down to a seated position. "We need someone that'll willingly help us."

Glide glanced at his brother. "How 'bout you?"

Fabian sighed, shaking his head. "I can't find my way between the Hell dimensions." He said. "I could barely navigate the one that I lived in."

"Well, we could always just capture an imp to start, then torture it until it spills any information it has." Ricky suggested.

Therali shrugged. "I doubt that would work, but it's possible. Normally, severe pain is good for loosening tongues."

"I don't think we could come up with anything, at least anything we can actually do, that would beat the tortures of Hell it'd endure for talkin'." Glide muttered.

Niqi, sitting near the window, finally spoke. "Um... guys..." She murmured, looking up toward the steadily darkening sky.

The others ignored her. "It's still a shot." Ricky pressed. "We should at least try it."

"It's not gonna work." Glide replied. "Besides, they might be able to track the damn thing, and if that's possible, what happens if we need to pick up and go before we get what we need out of it?"

Niqi tried again, a bit louder. "Guys. Problem."

"Gods damn it, what!?" Glide barked, glaring at her. "What the f**k is it?"

"Look at the f*****g sky and see for yourself!" Niqi shot back, pointing out the window. "That's no eclipse, I'll tell you that much."

Glide stood, approaching the window. He stared at the sky - almost completely black by then - for a long moment before finally speaking. "'And lo, from the darkest pits of Hell, three beings of purest evil shall rise, and their power shall black out the sun. In darkness, their forces shall be endless, but a group of brave warriors shall stand against them, led by twin brothers. Their battle shall reach across time itself, and bring about the end of days.'"

"... Then it's begun..." Revan breathed. "It's really happening..."

"Okay, folks!" Shetani said, clapping her paws together to draw the group's attention. "Just in case it starts raining fire, I say we start setting up those magical defenses Dham was talking about yesterday, because a fireball is going to rip through this flimsy roofing like it's not even there. Anyone that knows how to weave defensive magic, no matter how minuscule, is to start doing so right now."

"She's right, we need to start setting up." Glide agreed. "The ideal defense here would be a web of shielding spells, heavy around the doors, roof 'n' windows. If we can't get that up, we need to get five layers of at least fire-resistant, if not outright fire-negating, shield over the roof; we're talkin' 'Eighty percent chance of Fires of Hell falling from the sky', any less than five layers and it'll blast right through. Come on, mages, let's go. Get castin'!"

Well... f**k.

//we're talkin' 'Eighty percent chance of Fires of Hell falling from the sky'//
Despite the fact that logically, they'd be falling UP, since Hell is meant to be the UNDERworld.

But I'm just nitpickin', now. Because I can.
Muaha.

(Note to self; the Apocalypse will not necessarily be a logical procedure. Foo-el.)
