This is completely the writing of my friend.

After another few hours of walking, the group came upon a clearing, filled with many wooden huts, arranged in a circle around a great stone building.

"At least it's not the Nightstride settlement..." Revan muttered. "Guys, this is the Blackhoof clan's settlement. Step lightly, they're not exactly nice folks."

...

Inside the stone building, the chieftain of the Blackhoof clan sat. The Varixian was extremely obese, and seemed to be constantly eating. Glide wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Bet this dude hasn't seen his feet since he was your age." He whispered to Revan.

"That's Malrot, known as Malrot the glutton to his tribe." Revan said. "He was one of the clan chieftains when I was exiled."

"You want me to crack his skull open?" Glide asked, grinning.

Revan rolled his eyes. "No, Nar'zun, that won't be necessary." He raised his voice to address the Blackhoof chieftain. "Mighty Malrot, we humble travelers seek the assistance of your great and fearsome clan!"

"You have the gall to just walk in here and ask for my help, without even making an offer of compensation?" Malrot boomed, slamming one enormous paw down on the table in front of him. "Of all the insects that could crawl into my dining hall, you are the last one I ever thought I'd see. Not only do you show your face in these lands again, but you bring this... fool with you?" He growled, gesturing toward Glide.

"What the f**k did you just call me, fatty?" Glide snapped. "Did you f****n' call me a fool?"

"You wear the fur of one who has lost all honor." Malrot replied. "As you haven't been put to death yet, you must be a fool belonging to another of the clan chieftains."

Glide snarled, his eye shining behind the eyepatch. "You should shut your f****n' mouth before I bring out the shovel."

Malrot ignored the threat, continuing on his tirade. "Not only that, but you bastardize the color of our greatest warriors! A tradition set by the war god Myotis Ebonhorn, besmirched by a fool! Guards! I demand that this fool be shaved down immediately!"

Two Varixian guards stepped forward, brandishing spears. "Submit and you will survive."

Glide clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking. The first guard to get close enough was struck in the stomach, Glide rolling over his back as he doubled over.

The second guard attempted to skewer Glide with his spear, only to have it grabbed from him by Revan. "Quoth the Revan, hit the floor." He grinned, sliding the spear between the guard's legs and darting to his left, the spear knocking the guard's legs out from under him.

Glide grabbed the other guard by the back of the neck, raising his knee into the unlucky Varixian's cheek before throwing him to the floor. "Are you done now? Can we get to the part where you guys help us send those f****n' slavers packin'?"

"Who are you? What makes you think you can take on the humans?" Malrot asked.

Glide smirked. "Thought you'd never ask. Name's Myotis, but you can call me Glide." He paused for a moment, then narrowed his eyes at the Blackhoof chieftain. "Call me Myotis, ever, and you die."

"We will consider your request." Malrot stated. "You will stay in our settlement for the night and have your answer in the morning."
