Unafflicted

Unafflicted

A Poem by SongofSoulS
"

for those who try their best to discourage me

"

Your anger rolls right off me

like water on a leaf

Leaving me quite refreshed and relaxed

~

Still you throw your firey temper

thinking it can wound me

I just smile and laugh

as your anger rolls right off me

~

Don't you get it?

Your just tiring yourself out

Your anger can not hurt me

Your forked tounge does not scare

Your barbed words ricochet

and stab you

in the heart instead

~

I am iron

you are flesh

whatever you do to hurt me

Instead leads to your death
