Unforgiving Beautiful Destruction

destruction you find in a beautiful day left by something unforgiving and there is no one to blame

Look at the destruction

trees downed

ditches and yards

swollen with unmoving water

houses defaced

as if all a prank

but there are no apologies

no one to apologize

that uncaring cold hearted storm

cold-eyed? storm

has left town

not even looking back over it's shoulder

shoulder?

with a speck of remorse

my perfect place

has been destroyed by your coldness

unforgiving winds

cold faced rain

slices as it falls

gaining speed

throwing itself to the ground

and any unsheldered thing

no regrets

the destruction

pain and loss

and the beatiful blue sky for us to wake up to

so beautiful and serne

we can't blame it

thus blaming ourselves

unforgivingly
