Smiles That Remain

Smiles That Remain

A Poem by Stacy
"

About Time

"

Sitting and thinking that's all that I do,

Sitting here thinking of just me and you

I picture the way we talked for hours,

Endless conversation seemed like we had powers

Powers of needing no sleep as we spoke,

Staying awake like we were on coke

See you were the only drug I needed my dear,

It is so very obvious and so very clear

So for the smiles you have brought me I bring you two,

One that remains on my face and one that remains for you.
