Isn't That True

Isn't That True

A Poem by Stacy
"

Reading is believing

"

When I wouldn't submit,

You up and quit

I lost you to your own conceit,

I didn't deserve your deceit

So now when I see your picture,

All I can see is a love that was unsure

You would like to think it's all me,

It wasn't my dear as it was you

I didn't act the way you thought I should,

I only acted the way that I could

I showed you love and compassion,

It wasn't enough for you as to you it was a sin

So since it is over this time,

I'll leave you with one more rhyme

I did nothing but love you,

And you did nothing but hurt me, isn't that true?
