The mind wandered

How does it feel

Do you even know,

Was it even real

The feelings that show,

Were you the one

Or were you leading me on,

It can't be anything more

Than a friendship gone wrong,

I can't stop caring

No matter how things end,

You did this to us my friend

I can't bring myself to stop

You hurting me ends never,

All I can do is sit with the knife in my back

The one who holds you up high

The pedestal starts to crumbel,

The pieces hit me hard, but I will perservere,
